We are a club of just over 80 playing members together with over 100 social members . The club bowling competitions are very competitive with good numbers participating in championship, trophy and tournament events. There are opportunities for the more social bowlers to attend ‘Roll-ups’ on Tuesday & Thursday mornings.
New and prospective members are always most welcome.
Greens:
The Club has two natural grass greens, the predominant grass being a blend of dioka (cotula), star weed and maniototo, which are played on from September to May each year. The ‘Greenweave carpet’ Smith Green laid in October 2021 is available for play all year round.
Facilities:
We have a well appointed, spacious lounge and dining hall. An 83 inch TV is installed in the lounge and has the Sky Sports channels available at all times. There is a pool table, two dart boards, together with four gaming machines available to members and guests. A fully appointed bar is open from mid afternoon each day into the evening serving a selection of beers, wines, spirits and, of course, non alcoholic drinks plus snacks. Drinks are more than competitively priced against outside local venues.
